View Full Version : Macbook Repair "Complete" and Status "Return" but still "not ready"

I took our macbook to the Apple store yesterday to get a warranty repair done to it. He said it would only take a day or two. Today, I looked up the status online and it says "Repair Complete." The last status is "Return."

There is no "Return" status in the list of status codes, so I can't really look it up to know its true meaning. So I called the Apple store and he said it wasn't ready until someone called me to say it was and that I should disregard the online status . But then he also said he didn't have any way of checking the status of a repair, so he couldn't really help.

Does anyone know if I can go down and get it? Seems to me that it should be ready for pickup, but this is my first experience with Apple warranty repair service so I'm not sure. I'd like to get it today if I can since I'm currently close to the apple store and the rest of the week I will not be.

Thanks!
