Nike + iPod not working on my 3GS phone.

Has anyone had this problem. It worked fine up until today and it will not detect the sensor. I tried the sensor with my iPod touch and it worked after a couple of steps, but with the iPhone nothing.

Any info would be appreciated.
 
I mentioned this problem to the IT guy at work, who is also a Mac-a-maniac, and he recommended a hard boot. This seems to have been the solution, as the phone is now detecting the sensor.
