MacBook White early 2009 - 6 GB RAM?

Hi all. I'm wondering if the early 2009 MacBook white can take 6 GB of RAM? I searched and all the information seem to be about the earlier models or the new mid-2009 model. Has anyone tried?

I have 4 GB now, but I use vmware a lot.
