Hi there,

My Netgear DG 834G v2 is packing up and I was wondering what people on here can recommend for optimum performance for gaming.

FYI:
I'm on (up to) 8mp adsl broadband.
I will be running my MacBook off it via WiFi along with my PS3, Wii and occasionally my 360 (wired tho).
If it also adds to the equation, I'll be getting a new MBP in a couple weeks as well.

Thanks! T

I have the second one and agree with theITguy on this one. Never had the first but I impressed with the Linksys...NewEgg has it on Sale and also Best-Buy for less than 80.... A good deal...They have one step above with 10/100/1000 for your Cat5 but if you do not have a Nic Card to handle the 1000 then its a waste for the extra money.

Bill.....:apple:

Thanks for those tips, am considering the LINKSYS WRT160N then. I guess having N technology will also makes it slightly future proof.

I figure it's safe to assume that anything will be faster than my three year old Netgear?
