I searched for answer or tried to find one. But My cell phone keeps loosing it's signals goes from 5 bars to none. So I need to get it checked, but of course it's JB and unlocked so I need to do a restore of 3.0, I have a few Questions!

1 any way to save my info and setup so I can restore the JB when I get done at apple?

2 should I do the 3.0 restore or wait till 3.1

3 any tips on how to make this simpler?

For the most thorough job, you should do a DFU restore back to 3.0, and then take it to Apple. They won't be able to tell a thing. I had to get my iPhone serviced so I did a DFU restore, and then a recovery mode restore and that seemed to be fine.

1. Back it up in iTunes. However, sometimes jailbroken backups have trouble going back on a device.

2. Shouldn't make a difference. Just DON'T upgrade to 3.1 or else you might have a problem since it is unlocked. Make sure your problem isn't fixed after you restore it.

3. Be prepared to lose everything that is not backed up to your computer.

I actually took it back to the Apple store yesterday (Unlocked) simply because I read some where a Apple genius not making a big deal about it. She looked at it and took in back for a sec told me as long as it's a unlocked phone Apple won't do anything and to restore the Apple software and all will be well! ;)
