Download TinkerTool, it gives you the option of displaying hidden files in the finder. :D

hi thanks, tried but no luck
i dont think its that the files are hidden because they show up on pc's but i think it has something to do with the fact the disk was burned on a pc, maybe some setting wasnt checked?
does anyone have any ideas?

if you want to view hidden files in a directory, open up terminal, change to the directory and use ls -a. this will list all files in a given directory including hidden ones. do a man ls to see all the switches.

LOL. i just realised that there are a couple of threads on hiding files and another couple on making hidden files visible.
would be so funny if the hiding files thread was posted by a guy and then his girlfriend gets on MR and posts about making the hidden files visible. :D he he.
