Laptop hardrive is dead, how do I keep my iPhone apps, recover contacts, etc

My Macbook hard drive failed. I had my music, photos, and documents backed up but not the rest. The hard drive is now replaced and I basically have a new computer. How do I get the apps from my iPhone onto the new iTunes? I've done a little searching but got too many results and haven't found the correct info. Can any point me to a good thread or give advice? Thanks.

Since you downloaded the apps from iTunes, won't they transfer over to your new computer when you sync it with iTunes? It always does that with my purchased songs and every app I thought. Just make sure when it asks you if you want to transfer that you click YES!
