Hey guys, I have an interview with the local apple store for a mac specialist job. I was wondering if anyone knew what to expect and what kind of questions they will ask me. Also, is there anything I should bring with me?
Thanks a bunch!

Umm, this gets brought up once a month. Remember that they don't want you posting on here, or even reading it.
Here (http://www.ifoapplestore.com/stores/hiring.html) is some fairly good literature.

Don't tell them you're a member of MacRumors. Seriously.

Don't mention this site. Just mention the Apple Knowledge Base articles that help you keep up with stuff.
Honest, friend didn't get hired as Concierge (later he'd plan to become a Genius) because "officially" he didn't qualify and "unofficially" because during the interview he said he was a MacRumor member (The Apple Store manager is my friend;).

i doubt they wont hire you because of the fact you are a member on a forum.
probably had more to do with his personality if anything unofficially lol
dont be cocky about macs op when you interview. no one likes "those" people

Yeah, I thought the same thing. But I was given a, shall I say, so-so explanation.
You see, we know how to tell product cycles. In an Apple Store, your goal is to sell as much of the current model even if new Macs are coming out tomorrow. A MacRumor member will be tempted to say wait as the cycles starts ending, which translates to loss of sales.
I don't believe this much, I think its a pseudo-excuse to cover themselves.
