I've just ordered my 3GS over the phone with an o2 rep

I had to pay £144 to buy out contract and £87 for the handset

I ordered a 16gb in White

I sold my 3g iphone on ebay for £320, so made a nice profit 🙂
😎

£0 because I didn't upgrade. I have no need for a digital compass. I'm gonna upgrade next june when the true upgraded phone is released.

No harm in an upgrade if you're making money doing it 😀

i sold my 3g and paid the extra for a payg 3gs, didn't have to sign a new contract that way.

When you pay off your contract, is the telephone number cancelled? I want to do the same as you but dont want to give up my number.

If you did your maths properly you'd see that you certainly are not making money - just not spending quite as much as you could have done.

If you did your Maths properly, I have!!

Sold Iphone 3g for approximately £320

Bought out contract £144

Paid for new handset £87 (approximately)

= £231

£91 in my account extra to play with and still paying the same monthly

😱

How much did you originally pay for your iPhone 3G, how long was the original contract you signed and how much is your monthly line rental?
