I often come home to find garbled typing in "terminal" (which is open for FaH) and I wonder why... now I have the evidence! I mean, the cat hair on the keyboard was a bit of a giveaway too... ;)

EDIT: it gets quite warm when its doing Folding@Home, so she likes to sit on the keyboard to keep warm in our chilly Melbourne winters. :)

Disaster waiting to happen, I hope he is 'trained' very well.

You better hope he doesn't type in:
sudo rm -R /
and by some miracle get your password right :p.

Don't you not put on a screensaver?

no i have energy saver set so the screen goes to sleep, but the processor keeps working. Putting a screensaver on is a good idea, though!

I have now resorted to leaving a box on the keyboard to stop her doing it. And yes, i never type my password when shes looking! :D

My cat loves to rub up agents my cinema display. It gets surprisingly warm. Once he got his claw stuck in the speaker grill if my powerbook and he dragged it around on my desk. I bet that hurt!! He has also gotten his claws stuck under the keys on the keyboard of my powerbook and ripped a few out.

Now does the rabbit like to nibble on power cords? Once had a rabbit that almost ruined my computer. Cute, but always chewing on everything and leaving "presents."

One of my cats batted my Apple optical mouse around the desk until it flipped over.. The laser must have dazzled him, because he got all po'd at it and tore the crap out of it. I was really amused until I thought about having to replace it... oh well. I use a trackball now. He and his brother were put up for adoption when we moved to St Louis.. I don't think I remembered to warn the friend who took them in that he might want to tuck his mouse away when he leaves the house.

And here I thought this had something to do with Garfield...

My dog used to do that. Loved to sit on my keyboard. Especially when I was in the middle of something. Does that count? Sorry, no pics with me.

Sorry, couldn't resist :D
Well, you are running Windows... :p

I remember talking to a few of my UNIX nerd friends back in the day about rolling our foreheads over the keyboard trying to find new UNIX commands

'fdgr' or 'rewt' for example. It actually worked a few times
