Hi! A while back I saw a link on macrumors that listed which specific core2duo chip was placed in various macs (example-core2duo E8400, etc.)

I was wondering if anyone knew where I can find this information again? I specifically was looking for my model (2008 24" imac) but would appreciate a site where I could find others as well.

And please if you are going to post "search google" or the like dont bother as I ALREADY have searched google and cannot find this information easily.

Thanks in advance!

Talking about processors, what's the highest Ghz intel managed to make out of the Intel Core 2 Duo line?

Looking at this chart (http://www.intel.com/products/processor/core2duo/specifications.htm?iid=prod_core2duo+tab_spec) I think its 3.33

Clarksfields are available in Q4. Apple will likely use Arrandales (i3) instead

Yea it's 3.33GHz. My friend has one of those but it's at 4.2GHz :p
