I have a FM transmitter that I use to listen to my music in my car, but every time I get phone calls it still comes in over the phone. Speaker phone isn't practical in the car, I can't here what the other party is saying. Anyone know any work around for this?

That's the way it's designed. The only way you would be able to do what you're asking is by an FM modulator that plugs in to the headphone jack rather than the bottom port. This is just a universal 'dumb' transmitter that will send all audio through. I have a belkin one that does this - as does my crappy cassette adapter when I need that. That was weird the first time - I wasn't expecting it.

Mine has both, the direct and the 3.5, your saying if I use the 3.5mm, it will channel my phone calls over the speakers?

Didn't work, tried it last yesterday on the way home. Both 3.5mm and dock plug, only the 3.5mm and neither worked for phone calls.
