View Full Version : My apps released, but I can't find it...

How long does it take for an App to appear in iTunes? I've had the release notification email, and following the link takes me to my app. But if I look on the UK store at the apps category, it isn't in the recent releases, nor can I find it if I search for it by name.
Does it take some time to appear?

Can someone do me a favour and search for it on the US app store (I'm in the UK) and see if its there? App name is ChangingRoom. Would be greatly appreciated.

You can visit every app store if you wish...

In iTunes store, click on the Home button, then go at the bottom, and change the store. (Note that if you are not on your usual store, and sync one ipod touch, you'll change the default store on the ipod too)

I wonder how long it'll be until it propagates to the rest of the world? I did set it to be available globally.

I actually live in Bangkok and so use the Thai iTunes store. I did a search, and your app is there as well! :)

Cheers. Its now showing in the UK, so I guess half a day to propogate round the world isn't too bad.
