Is it possible to allocate more hard drive space to the windows side of the partition without having to reformat?

Thanks.

EDIT: Does this mean anything?

If it's an intel Mac, you can use diskutil in Terminal as long as the harddrive's partitioned in GPT (should be, I guess).

Use winclone to make a image backup of your bootcamp volume.
Resize your bootcamp volume using bootcamp assistant.
Restore your image to new boot camp partition using winclone.

I searched the forum and came across what you just wrote. Do you have an estimate on how long it would take?

It is fairly quick to image using winclone. But it really depends on how big your windows partition is. My 30 gig partition about ten minutes to create an image.

create another partition using fat32. you'll be able to see it on both partitions. i would recommend backing up though. i once tried to do a third partition to install snow leopard and it ended up messing up my windows partition. it could have been something else i did because when i created a fat32 partition for this exact purpose my windows partition remained intact.
