Problem during jailbreak

Hey guys,
I chose to jailbreak my ipod touch 2g in 3.0. I did everything I was told to, and everything went fine until the moment were the screen says "downloading jailbreak data". This step lasted much longer than it was supposed to : about 10 minutes! And then, I didn't get the pineapple picture, but it went straight to the image telling me to connect my ipod touch to itunes. But itunes only tells me to restore my ipod, but of course I don't want to do that...
Please help me:D I'd like to fix this...

if u JBed usinga older version of redsn0w or something this would be a problem but with the most recent version of redsn0w , u don't need to do anything rly. just folllow instructions in the redsn0w software.

I got it, thanks! I didn't know I had to be in 3.0 to jailbreak in 3.0 : I thought the upgrade was part of the JB...

I had the same problem when i was jailbreaking my 1 Gen iPod 3.0, but i then disconnected it and did it again and it was fine, i then went through it again i un clicked one box and it worked fine then. :D :apple:
