I have a G4 iBook and I'm going to be travelling in a few weeks. I will have access to AC to charge my battery but sometimes (on airplanes for example) I will need more than the standard battery life (I get about 3hrs DVD playback). So, to make a long story short, I need a second battery.

My question is, does anyone have any suggestions/opinions on the original Apple battery vs. an off-brand battery. The most important factor is safety, I want something that won't fry my 'book. After that I really want the longest life possible.

Finally, it should be internal as most external packs tend to look very bomb-like which the airlines don't appreciate.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I live in Canada so a company with a Canadian distributor would be best.

Thanks
