With the new Apple displays coming out soon, do you think apple will still sell the old ones? I just bought a new PowerMac G4 (Mirrored Drive Doors) and would like to get a 17'' Apple LCD display to go with it, but it is to much money now but if they kept selling them, but not for so much money I would get one.

Although they probably will still sell their inventory at a pretty high cost (who can blame them), ebay will see a decrease in price in the old units.

I've been checking eBay for the past few months looking for an older 15" to buy for under $300, I'd suggest that, there are new monitors up for sale every few days. Buying refurbished displays from Apple's website really isn't much of a deal, they're usually only $100 off orig. price, and the selection is poor. Check some of the apple resellers online to see if you can find some displays. You can Google for the sites or specific displays you want or here are a few sites you might like: http://www.smalldog.com http://www.cdw.com http://www.dvwarehouse.com. Those places all sell refurbished, used, and new apple products (as far as I know). Good luck
