Hello folks,

I just bought a brand new MacBook white and so far I love it.

There is one annoying issue I cant seem to fix. I constantly have to renew my DHCP lease in System Preferences as the connection keeps dropping. Either that or turn Airport off and then on.

The Mac is connected to a router configured using WPA-PSK, which is hooked to a broadband connection.

The issue doesnt seem to happen with my other wireless devices (iPhone, PS3...)

Any clue?

Thanks!

I had the same problem when I first got my Airport Extreme base station.
In the airport utility I went to manual setup, Internet, DHCP, and I set the DHCP lease for 364 days.

Now, if you do not have airport and the airport utility then I am not sure.
