Toast vs iDVD

I've had my Mac a while but am just getting around to burning some DVDs on it; I prefer Toast to iDVD but have encountered an irritating problem. I have some TV programs I downloaded and some of them, when burned to a disc using Toast 9, only take up part of my TV screen. Yet the very same items, when burned onto a disc using iDVD, fills the entire screen.

Why would this be? And can I get Toast to burn such programs properly?

I am a technopeasant and need help! :o

On the Options panel on the left, select "Custom", then select "More". On the next screen, make sure your selection for "Aspect Ratio" matches that of your TV.
