I bought an unlocked Iphone recently. It's somewhat beat up, nothing bad. I decided to format it, to erase all the previous user's crap lying around in it. Only problem- it won't start now, and when I try to restore it in iTunes, it won't read the phone as being connected to the computer. When I attempt to turn it on, I get a picture of an apple, with a loading circle that'll freeze every few minutes; then the phone resets itself. Help please!

Tried it, but the computer still won't register it as being connected.

Could be a number of things. Are you sure the cable works? The part where the usb connects to the iPhone could be bad? Also, I've heard of people rebooting their computer and then it recogizes it.
