Have a look at Landscape Tweeting (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=319509383&mt=8). When I searched the App Store for landscape tweeting, it showed this application, which I was looking for, and some others too, which may also do landscape now.

TwitterFon uses landscape mode, and it's a great app in general. Highly recommended.

Tweetie supports landscape mode for composing tweets.

Define "major" for us? Because TwitterFon and Tweetie, 2 of the highest rated and most popular Twitter apps both support landscape when composing. Or are you looking to view the timeline in landscape too, which is pretty pointless considering you won't see much on the screen?

At least the paid version of TwitterFon does, not sure about the free version, don't use that one.

iTwitter has it, although I don't know if I would call that a major app, It's what I'm using though.

Because the landscape keyboard is horrible to type on.

I have big hands and big fingers, but I don't enjoy landscape typing.

It's just too wide and my thumbs have to travel too much.
