Adium crash/Ichat CPU Spike

Ok my ichat just keeps spiking my cpu meter to 100 percent and i cant figure out why. Someone said it might be somebodys buddy icon but i cant figure whose it might be if anyones at all. My boy said to use adium so i go to the adiumx.com site and download it , i put it into my apps folder and when i go to launch it after a few seconds the crash wizard thing appears . I have tried to get it about 6 diff times and the same thing keeps happening . Once again any help would be great. thanx

I'm not sure about your iChat problem, but I use Adium for my IM needs right now. The cash your getting I believe is a bug in the current version of Adium :( Check out their forums, they said it's fixed in the next version which should come out on friday. Just wait till then, it's a great IM program.

Are realted to a persons buddy icon. To find out who it is, Open up the CPU monitor, and then go down your buddy list, and one by one open a chat window with those available. When you open the problem window, you'll see the CPU moniter turn all green. Once you have figured out who is causing the problem, simply cmd click on the name, and change their buddy icon.

yo kood do u mean in terminal, im judging most of it off of menu meters.
