Font Thinning Issue- Fix??

I have added a screenshot of how my font looks on my Mac screen currently. I hope you all notice a problem. If not, compare it with what you have on your computer now and you will see a difference. What are the possible fixes? Thanks.

EDIT: it is not a monitor issue because it is the same deal on a Samsung External Monitor.

OK. What is supposed to be the problem?

Apple menu > system preferences > appearance > font smoothing dropdown > automatic or medium

Ummmm, maybe that the font looks weird??

I played with that setting and then the font size setting underneath it. Also, I did an Archive and Install just to see if that would fix it. So far, no issues. Thanks a lot.
