Keyboard shortcut symbols?

Who uses them? or knows the combinations to make which symbol?

such as √ is created by option+V
and ∑ is created by option+W

and option+shift+2 makes €

i know the keyboard has these functions, just wondering if anyone actually uses them? :confused:

I use them all the time especially these ∑, º, •, ©, and ƒ. Also the accents are very handy :)

Meh. I'll use them when I need them, but I don't have too many memorized.

I don't know any off by heart, I ether go to character palette or the keyboard viewer.
