A friend of my jailbroke my phone using cydia. Last night I was installing something to add to my messages and it asked for a reboot. I did this and since then i havent been able to get past the apple picture you get when you turn your phone one. I have tried to reboot my phone by pressing the on/off button and the middle button at the bottom of my phone. I have also tried to plug it in to itunes but it cant find it to sinc to my phone. Please can someone help as I dont know what to do....

Turn off the phone and then hold the home button while connecting the phone to iTunes. Then do a restore, and rejailbreak it. Or put the phone into DFU mode and then do the same thing.

Are you sure you are doing DFU mode correctly? iTunes usually will detect it if it is in that mode correctly. Also if you are using a jailbroken phone you need to start doing a bit of your own searching for solutions. Because what works for one person's phone might not works for yours. If all else fails, you can play "dumb" and take it to the Genius Bar.

sorry very much a novice... whats DVU mode.. maybe im not doing that!!

Please do a simple search for how to put the iPhone info "DFU mode" it might take a few times but you'll get it. There are youtube videos that show how to do DFU mode. When in DFU mode there shouldn't be anything on the screen. It should appear like it is off.
