Base model 3.0 touch cost/stripped features

Forgive me if this has been asked but I did not see any topic like this doing a search.

I'm just curious as to what people would think the cheapest 3rd gen touch (which would have the least memory of course) will cost. Considering that the current cheapest 2nd gen touch is $229, do you think the price will be considerably higher/lower than that due to probably having a camera and more features?

Also do you think that any features would be left out on the cheapest model vs the most expensive touch (kinda like the iPhone 3G vs 3Gs)?

most likely it will either stay at $229 and if it drops at all it will probably go to $199. also they will all be the same just different storage capacities, or at least that's how they've been doing it.

probably won't go below 229 because then it would eat into the ipod nano sales.

I would say where it's at, $199 (along with a nano and shuffle price drop), or an extra $10-20 because of some "awesome" new feature.
