iCal timer help

I have all my classes and events ready. Now lets say I have the timer go off at 8am and I get out from the event and its now 12pm and I turn on my computer the event goes off. I don't want to know about an event after its over. Thanks

Ical is a great program, but it has many problems, like the one you've discovered. Ical is in great need of an update that hasn't come in a long time. You should use the "Provide Ical Feedback" option in the menu bar under the Ical menu. The more often they hear feedback that it needs to be updated, the sooner they will do it.

Perhaps somebody on the apple ical forum can give you a better solution, but I think this is one of the "known issues" with ical.
