I’m shopping around for laptop insurance for my powerbook. I move my laptop several times a day and basically need insurance that would cover anything not covered by apple care. The only company that I’ve found so far is:

http://www.safeware.com

Does any have any experience with this company? If so what are you thoughts on them?

Does anyone have any other suggestions on where to go?

You can usually get computer insurance added onto your homeowner's or renter's insurance for a nominal fee (I think my insurance company charger $12 a year). I would try that so you know who you are dealing with and you don't have to worry about shady practices.

I agree with reaper on this one, go through your home/renter's insurance or if you don't have either of those, get in touch with your car insurance company. Pretty sure mine is right around fifteen dollars or so. Hope it helps.
