dock problem

i just restarted my computer and everything is fine - but for some reason the finder icon in the dock is stuck between and behind two other icons. when i click on it nothing happens and when i minimized it it didn't move. i tried minimzing the dock and the finder icon appears outside of the dock then. any help?

try repairing permissions and then in terminal type:

killall Dock

command + shift + 3

or command + shift + 4 and select that part of the dock
