Syncing a Dell Axim with Mac OS X

I have a Dell Axim X5 that I'd like to sync with my Mac. Does anyone know a free way to do this? I know of programs like PocketMac and The Missing Sync, but I can't pay $50 just to sync my handheld. I guess something in the $5 range would be OK, but I'd prefer a free program. Can anyone help me?

I have the exact same issue, I have an old Dell Axim X5 and I converted to macs a while back and recently came across my abandoned X5. I also found the sync programs you mentioned, the pocket one seems really cool, but this little project isn't worth $50 to me. I'd even settle with a freeware mod.
