You should've talked to arn first so that he could unban you for a while.

From what I've seen, most of the time, that is true. But I've seen rare cases in which "double members" are allowed to keep posting. It depends on whether or not the forum member is "kind enough" to the admin., and if the member has had a positive reputation on the boards already.
