How to find out what MacBook Pro 13" diplay manufactuerer

Hi, I've searched around and tried the methods but still can't find out what screen I have 🙁

I've gone into the colorsync utility and selected display in the profile, but nothing shows up on the side window about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

+1 - wanting to calibrate my screen aswell, how do u find out which spec it is?

In Terminal.app: ioreg -lw0 | grep IODisplayEDID | sed "/[^<]*</s///" | xxd -p -r | strings -6

That's a very nice easy way!

The manual way:

System Preferences > Display > Color > Under Color LCD profile (default) > Open Profile > Line '13', last 4 characters under model

Type those puppies into MRoogle and get some nice looking colored profiles! 😉

9CA3 for me!
