Two thing2 of note on, "Divide by amt. of people."
One, that's the only wording you didn't capitalize. Two, I'd phrase it differently for space. Maybe "Split Cost" or "Cost Per Person."
If you use it I want 10% of the sales. :p

I don't see why they wouldn't give you 100% of the sales since the app is for free

Tried to download it but got an error that it's not available in the UK store. Have you only released it in the USA?
Edit: I have a US Store account too (one of the benefits of having American customers ;) ), so grabbed a copy from there. Looks pretty good for a first app!
One suggestion - whilst you're calculating and dividing the tip, why not do the same with the main bill so people can see how much they need to contribute to both the bill and the tip? (gave you a 5 star rating BTW)

????
He was making a joke. I joked about getting 10% above. (To point out the obvious, 10% of nothing is... nothing). So if I got 10% or 100% my reward is still... :p

Well your thread title is not descriptive so people are going to take a peek. Once they see that it's another tip app, they loose interest. Next time to get a better measure don't be vague.

I changed the title head. I know you guys think its probably a stupid app, at this point I'm still learning everything so I'll be uprgrading it more and more. I do appriciate everything though because like I said this a big olearning process and there will always be a negative side to it. Thanks again guys, and if you want spread the word to your friends about it. thx:)

If you keep the same general constuction on dividing the bill, it should be "Divide by number of people," not "amount." Amount refers to a quantity you can't count - like an ounce of water. Number is fairly obvious - the number of nails in a box, say.
(I know it sounds pedantic, but you will have users who will notice and find your application less professional for the difference.)

I have not downloaded the app, however I think its great you're able to create it. Don't be discouraged by these forums. I hope you can make a profit from other apps you develop.

I always give a $0.25 for tip.I hope you don't do that in the US. Servers rely on tips for their living. It may not be a great system overall, but you victimize the server in the US if you do something like that.

servers have been known to do nasty things to bad tippers! not all of them but they are out there. at least I wouldn't ever plan to come back and let that server see me. I learned when ever eating out treat people nice that are caring and preparing your food! ;) haven't got the app yet but do you have different calculations 10% poor service 15% average 20% good servive 25% great servive 30% trying to hook up with the server j/k but that's basically how I tip.

Thx. I know I will be fixing that in the next update. I take this all to good measure and learning more on a professional level.

Nice app, but unfortunately it's a bit later; if you made this back in August 2008, it would have been so much better since I wouldn't have had to pay for mine.

I've always just gone price of meal times the tip precent $27.53 X 0.15= $4.12 or i'd go $4.25-4.50 or at 20% 0.20 $5.50 don't mean to be harsh but really don't need a app to do that! then again you've written a app I haven't congrats.
