Quicktime Stream Won't Play

Last night I was trying to play the QT stream of last years WWDC on my week old TiBook. All I could see were those little blue bubbles going back and forth across the bottom. Unfortunately there entertainment value is limited.

So I tried it on my old iBook and it worked just fine. As far as I can tell, all the QT settings and prefs. are the same. Any sugestions?

Update: If I wait long enough, I get a message "-3285: Disconnected."

Do you use little snitch? check the quicktime settings.
also this is what i did to get my streams working.

open system prefs, click quicktime. click the connection tab.

click transport setup and and check the button to manually change the protocol.

take the drop down for HTTP and leave it on port 80.

press ok.
