I currently have an iPod Touch 2nd Generation with firmware 2.2.1 5H11a build. I want to jailbreak it, but can't seem to get any jailbreaking program to recognize my IPSW file. I've downloaded it more than ten times from different sites. None of them work. If this means anything to you, I'm using Windows Vista 32-bit and I downloaded the file through Mozilla Firefox. By the way, I've unzipped it and/or changed the file extension numerous times to .ipsw. It still doesn't work. I tried doing the same on a different computer with Vista 64-bit and still didn't work. Help please? Thanks!

If it is 3.0 you are downloading online, we can't help you there, you should pay for it in iTunes. But you should always use the ipsw that iTunes downloads.
