Hello!
I've got a problem : I found an USB-mains adapter, and I use it to recharge my ipod touch. But here's my problem : it's not the one designed by apple, and the output is 5V 1A , and that's too much for most mp3 players. Is it all right to use it with my ipod touch? It works, but I'd like to make sure I'm not hurting my beloved Ipod.

Ok... but is the battery going to last as long as with the normal adapter? And does anyone know what output the apple adapter's got, because it seems like apple doesn't want people to find out, I couldn't find it... But I suppose they had to write it on the adapter itself, right? So if anyone who's got it could tell me... :D

It will be fine - the 1A is the maximum current the adapter can provide: It won't try and force more current into the iPod than it can handle.
