I want to record todays Tour de France on my new Mac Pro. Versus has it now on the internet. Can I use my 2.66 Quad to record it somehow?
Thank you.

Maybe you've missed some words out, or you don't type/speak English grammar very well...
What is it you actually want to do?
Record the "Tour de France" directly into your computer from your TV, or have you found a website streaming it live and you want to record from there?
If it's a video online, then you might want to try iShowU (http://store.shinywhitebox.com/home/home.html) and there're plenty of tutorials on this YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=iShowU&search_type=&aq=f) link.
I hope this helps?

If it's on the internet, you can download it...if it's from your TV signal, get Elgato

With all respects, you can't always download it from the internet, if it's embedded.
iShowU does the job (sadly you may have to pay for it) but it'll (or something similar) be a standard new feature on 'Snow Leopard' - Apparently...

You can download most/all embedded video files manually in Safari
1) Let the video fully load
2) Go to 'Window', 'Activity' . This should list all files active in each particular window.
3) Find the largest file (as this will be the video) and double click to download.
4) Use VisualHub or something similar to convert the file.

Of course this method won't work for live streaming...

And yes, my answer was generalised in response to the vague question :P

What else needs to be described or what other details should I give about recording the Tour de France? Again I would like to know, if it is possible to use my Mac Pro as a video and sound recorder so that I could watch the Tour at a later time.
Also what is wrong with my grammar?
Thank you.
