Changing app rating

Hey all,

I want to change the rating of my app in iTunes Connect.

Initially, I set it to the minimum (4+) but as my app can access Youtube, I need to increase the rating.

However, when I go into iTunes Connect and select the ratings tab, everything is greyed out. I *can* change the details on the other tabs, though.

Any ideas?

You can only change an app's rating when submitting a new version.

The reasoning is probably that Apple wants to approve your rating. If it could be freely changed at any time, some unscrupulous developer could submit with a 17+ rating and then lower it to 12+ after approval.
