So I own the 2.7 Ghz 24" iMac, with the 256Mb Ati 2600HD and 4Gb of Ram. I've installed a few games on the thing (Red Alert 3, Bioshock, Doom 3) and am having a couple problems.

Red Alert 3 plays beautifully on high settings at native resolution (1920x1200), and Bioshock doesn't even do too badly.

In Doom 3, I've edited the configuration file to support my resolution, as it normally doesn't go up that high, and all settings at high, the game gets choppy when very little is going on. I find this ridiculous as it's a five year game, yet the system can play newer ones just fine.

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone else have any solutions to this problem?

I'm running on Vista, and have the latest Mobility Modder Drivers.

Thanks a bunch!
