No service on JB iphone

Ok so i just JB my 3g iphone running on OS 3.0 and i used redsnow but now i have no service i have wifi only any anwsers would be helpful

I did this once with pwnage tool. If you have a legitimate contract (read you don't have to unlock your phone to use it) with a carrier (in the US that would be AT&T) you need to leave the activate phone box unchecked. I'm not sure where that would be on redsnow, but thats probably whats wrong.

I had this issue as well. I just did a factory restore then redid the jailbreak. That fixed it for me.
