Those chinese docks on ebay...

Anyone got one and can any confirm if those cheap docks being sold on ebay work on the 3GS ?

With the incompatibilities between the various iPhones (as I found-out with with my Logitech speakers and the 3G) you'd think these vendors would make every attempt to *clearly* state which models stuff will work with. Even higher-end stuff with the iPod/iPhone logo (which my Logitechs had) aren't always fully functional, so the cheap eBay knock-off stuff could be worse.

Of course, with a dock, there's not a ton to screw-up unless they don't bring all of the pins out, or use the FireWire power pins instead of USB.

Yeah I was confused as looking through similar auctions of this particular dock and some have it listed as being compatible with 3G only while some say 3GS as well.

So it's got me confused as surely the 3G and 3GS are pin identical.
