is it or is it not a good idea to sync your contacts/calendar with Outlook AND MobileMe ? in all directions..

(frankly it confuses me, but since i heard the iPhone only can get 400 charges on a battery i don't want to hook it up every time to sync)

I see no reason why you would not want to sync your data. If you are using MobileME it will sync wirelessly. So charging should have no issues here.

so no matter where i make adjustments, they all should be in sync ?

As soon as the device goes online it will copy it over.
