im not sure if this has been posted yet or even been talked about but ever since i've upgraded my 1G iPod touch to 3.0 and launch Safari....it often crashes when switching tabs. Also after some time of surfing with Safari pages stop loading altogether. The only solution to the stop loading problem so far is to shut down my touch completely and turn it back on.

This must be a memory problem. Safari consumes a lot of RAM memory, so depending on how many tabs you have open at once, can run slowly or crash at times especially with this new 3.0 software. Restarting your iPod clears the RAM and frees up memory once more.

Might I suggest buying the iStat app? It shows your current RAM usage and system processes much like Windows Task Manager and Activity Monitor, and also provides a way of clearing RAM and freeing up memory
