transfer itunes to another user account?

So I have one mac with two users. how can I transfer my itunes library to the other user?

Copy the ~/Music/iTunes folder from one user to the matching directory on the other user account?

I did that but nothing appears in iTunes

Try launching iTunes on the other account with the option key held down, and manually direct it towards the iTunes Library.itl file you transferred over.
