MAMP install ?

I am about to get MAMP Pro for my Mac,
and wanted to make sure i installed it correctly..

Do i have to first install MAMP standard, and then
install MAMP Pro ?

They're separate applications.

I use MAMP Pro, and while they're separate apps, I have MAMP installed as well. I've never tried using MAMP Pro without the free MAMP version as the installation instructions (http://www.mamp.info/en/documentation/index.html) imply that the Pro version requires MAMP.
