I wonder if this will affect Apple at all, and what it could mean for the future. I see their reasoning, but this almost feels like iTools all over again.

hhmmm... this should probably be posted in Current Events....

but yeah, i don't like the way it's going. now how will iChat users be able to video and sound chat?

perhaps Apple will start running it's own free network. ;) :D yes! free video chat for all Apple users!! :D

AOL has one thing going for it now, AIM. Of course they have to try to make some money off of it because their user base has been declining for quite a while now. I don't think this is going to affect (effect?) iChat's video confrencing at all.
