Quite revealing, that a company so 'large and diverse' feels the need to focus on Apple's market share.

I love how he said Apple is all about high margin, high quality, high price, and that they approach it the other way. So... He's admitting to the second one being low quality then?

Anyway, we got a bank them right here in the middle. I know where they all are. One over here on the side. But anyway… that’s okay, feel free as long as you are using Office to go right on ahead.

Strange ... Ballmer's speech pattern reminds me of George W. Bush.

It's interesting how that slide says the market share vs. Apple hasn't moved. Has anybody else noticed that the Net Applications OS and browser market share reports still haven't been released for June? There's some serious statistics manipulation going down here IMO.

Anyone else think Bill Gates jumped ship at the right time?

Ballmer is the perfect mascot for Microsoft: He's arrogant, unpredictable, and just plain funny to watch.

In the story on Apple Insider Ballmer first noted how small a share Apple has and how this isn't really changing over time then he repeatedly remarks on how Windows is in the minority among the investors in attendance. He must have been doing his shifty salesman faces like when he was asked about the iPhone before it's launch. I'd love to see a video of it. He's creepy and goofy. Kind of like the creepy king in the BK commercials. Hey, didn't Microsoft hire those same advertising dudes for their Gates + Seinfeld skits? Hmmmmm.

Ballmer is the perfect mascot for Microsoft: He's arrogant, unpredictable, and just plain funny to watch. It was an intentional bailout, no doubt - inspired by the debacles of scrapping Longhorn, patching and shoveling Vista together, the impending losses of XBox, and internet services, BG did circumvent a painful decline by bailing when he did. Ballmer, the bulldog, a perfect match for Micro-Mart, is currently planning on launching two sizable Windows Theme Parks, adjacent to DisneyLand and DisneyWorld, for hosting birthday parties which had originally been planned to have been catered at the Microsoft Stores.

Hmmmmm. As creepy as the king is in the BK commercials, Ballmer truly embodies the meanings of creepy and vulgar, taking them up several notches - far too repelling for even Crispin, Porter + Bogusky to deal with.

I'm really curious,

is Ballmer mentally retarded, or he's just a complete, moronic idiot?

Really, just look at how he speaks and what he says.

Really, just look at how he speaks and what he says.Which is mostly generated by an ego which vastly outweighs his mental and emotional capacities.

Every time I hear about him. I just cant comprehend. Some one that even I feel smarter then. Is in charge, of one of the worlds biggest companies.
I guess it just boils down to the fact that. Microsuck is so big they cant fail.
The could repackage Windows ME and call it windows 7. they still would be on top.
I despise Ballmer He is such a arrogant foul mouthed slob. Who put the nail in the coffin for me. Ever wanting to use a microsoft product again.

This particular oldie, isn't such an oldie after all, as it has since been maniacally resurrected:
"Advertisers, Advertisers, Advertisers, Advertisers...." (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTkA9L2J2gY)
