Is it possible to plug a video into my mac G4 and copy the video into imovie and then burn it onto dvd.Thanks for any advice scottie

you will need a dv bridge to convert the video to dv then into your computer firewire port.
you can use a dv bridge such as

or a dv camera with video input.

I use the Canopus.com ADC 100 and it works very well for this. It takes any analog signal and converts to DV on the fly so iMovie can open it and edit.

Its rather affordable and nce in iMovie you can export to nearly anything with QTPro.
