Whenever its really hot (35+) the place where the white plastic case of the iPod and the metal meet, the metal is visible in a sortof ridge which can be (depending on the temperature) 1-3 milimeters out. Is this normal?

Well, you know the basic physics, heat expense.

BTW, that's one dirty title you got there. We have children around here, tone down the obscenity already.

Better keep that thing on a leash or some big 40GB will have its way and you will have a bunch of minis running around LOL :D
