Hey guys i need help getting song titles and and artists, i have the full song already on my hd, but i cant find out who the artists are. i have written down some of the lyrics that may be memorable; i tried googling them but these 2 haven't come up (or if it has, it wasn't the right one)
most of these songs are chillout/house but i am sure remixed so any help would be great
1. ...always the boy with the yellow rose i just could not forget...i can breathe in this serenity, i will chase down both our armies...
...always the boy with the yellow rose peacock feather and baby's breath
then the chorus goes something like : no more, lets go...im a T here
2. Oh yeahhhhhhh...its my mother lipstick print ont eh side of my face, its my fathers goodnight before i had my first taste...its like love, baby are you in the mood....its that explosive thing that gets you
kiss kiss kiss kiss, do you know how to kiss kiss kiss kiss, something like this this this this, let me show you how to kiss kiss kiss...
later in the song theres faded vocals in the back ground of a guy saying 'kissing you felt so good, kissing you felt so good"

Don't recognise the lyrics but have you tried using one of those music recognition services? Phone the number, play the music and then a minute or two later you should get a text message telling you who it is.
http://www.shazam.com
Costs money I know :/
Edit: That's if you're in the UK (Nottingham = England?) I'm sure there are similar services for the US though.

Hey the song that you are after is called "Safe [Claude Bareau Mix] - Bonnie Bailey". You can find the song on a Various Artists CD called 'Hed Kandi Beach House 04.03'. Brilliant CD. Oh and by the way if you know where I can get the lyrics for this song, I would be really greatful.
Keep groovin,

I was hoping someone here might be able to give me the title and artist of the lyrics I'll write here. I can't remember who sang the song or the title and it's really bugging me.
The lyrics I know are (not necessarily in order) "If I could fly I'd lift you up, I'd take you into the night....And show you a love, like you've never seen....Wherever you go, I'll be with you. You were the first you'll be the last."
I'm pretty sure it's from the late '80's early '90's and it's a guy singing. I thought at first it might be Foreigner or Journey or a band like that, but I don't know. Any help would be greatly apprecitated.

I don't know the title of the song or who sings it (but it's a guy) and I only know the first line so here it is :
shaking like a dog ****ting razor blades
 I think what comes after is :
waiking up next to nothing after dreamin' ...
if any one knows the song please tell me cuz it's a good song.
Thanx

Hello Everyone
I need a little help to identify a song title and band name if possible for the following lyrics ...
"Are you sitting comfortably, then we'll begin"
These lyrics are spoken at the very start of the song, and then it carries on into the rest of the song. Pretty sure it is an 80's or 90's band like Def Leppard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you all in advance

I came across this app the other day called Tunatic (http://www.wildbits.com/tunatic/). It can listen to a song and compare it's features/characteristics against it's database and (if it's in there) give you the song and artist info. Just to note the database is user driven so over time the database should keep building up apparently. So some of my more mainstream music is easily identified, though the more obsucure stuff is hit and miss really.

Looking for it myself. Between '81 and '84 or so. I remember the refrain "and when your final screams, become reality not dreams".
It's _ gotta_ be out there somewhere.

I am looking for a song that was on the season 1 Felicity DVD. It was in the episode "Boggled". All I have is the lyrics but the song is slow, acoustic and sung by a guy. Any help would be much appreciated - I know lots of fans are looking for this song.
Thanks!
"Am I breathing? It feels like I'm touching you for the first time. It's not the first time. The sweetest treason, lying next to you before our last wave goodbye.
The moment that we closed the door, we hung our halos, knowing what we came here for. If not forever, until the morning after. (The morning after.) I watch you sleeping, knowing that I'll never share this bed with you. As much as I want to. I'm not weeping, but I'm overwhelmed by how we sealed our fate. Now it's too late. The moment that we closed the door, we hung our halos, knowing what we came here for. If not forever, until the morning after. (The morning after.) "

I'm looking for the name of the song/artist that is playing in the Christmas Party scene of "The Office" Special. It is the scene where Tim is watching Dawn leave. The lyrics are like "whatever it takes, whatever you want, I want you back" or something like that. I know it is a fairly old song.

Yep. :)
But sometimes you have to tweak it a bit. Also, typing the word "lyrics" (without the quotes) after your lyrics will narrow it a bit more.

The song is called "Roadrunner" and is performed by a Finnish group called "The Hurriganes" and no that's not a typo.
Have the song if you'd like.

Hey there! It is indeed a tune called "Roadrunner" by the bluesmeister Bo Diddley. For further info. please see the following Telus link: http://www.telus.com/cgi-ebs/jsp/viewitem.do?category=cat_8685&Region=B
No offense to the above poster: The Hurriganes version is great, however it isn't the version used in the Telus advert.

I tried searching for a song with the lyrics "take the long road home" in the chorus, but could only find the Supertramp lyrics, haha, so this is my last, desperate attempt at discovering who sang the song:
It's a super-mellow/ambient song (with a simple guitar melody) with the lyrics "take the long way home" in the chorus. Sorry I can't be more specific :( . The song kinda sounded like some of Holopaw's work, if that's any help...
Well, thanks in advance!

I am looking for a song for my mother but she is really unable to give me much information to google. Basically the only way I think I'm going to find it is if someone else recognizes the description.
The songs lyrics consist of each verse being like a letter to a different guy, starting Dear John, Dear etc... She can't remember really any of the names specifically. She thought the song was by Alanis Morissette, probably not though but something similar. So female, supposedly happy, but a little melancholy. I thought I hit home when I read the lyrics for Narcissus by Alanis Morissette but that apparently wasn't it, and just to quell the thought now, it's probably not anything called "Dear John".
Any help you could give to point me in the right direction would be much appreciated.
Thanks

"We don't have to talk about the old folks, talk abou the old stuff. And we don't need to talk abou the young ones talk about he young stuff. When we are together I just wanna talk about me and you." And then there is a whistling chorus. It's on the new cingular commercial (the whistling part) and they were on conan o brien or late night with carson daily a little bit ago. They are fairly new i think. They sound kinda European. If you could help it would be appretiated greatly. Thanx Randy

Now that I have your attention there's nothing to say

saw in your eyes a look of surprise as I walked away
If I'm getting smaller, it's cos I am leaving you today
If I'm getting stronger I remembered what to say
It might be that I'm stronger, but not today

Yes, it's actually a rip off of another song, I think. The original song is "Baby, We're Invincible" by A Rocket to the Moon. (The melody is the same, but the lyrics are different.)
Here is how it starts off:
I loved you, now you've gone and left me here
And it hurts when I breathe.
Why did you have to go?
You were the one I wanted;
You were the one that i deserved.
Now you're gone and I'm scared,
Why did you have to go?
If you could tell me the rtist or the song title that would be great.
Thanks.

Thanx Randy
the song is young folks by peter bjorn and john ^^

"lookin at you through the glass,
don' know how much time has passed, all i know is that it feels like forever,
and forever feels alone,

i googled it a couple of times, i dont know the title, and i need help.
THNX
Love that song. It's by Stone Sour, called Through Glass. They're really good in concert too.
Lyrics:
I'm looking at you through the glass...
Don't know how much time has passed
Oh, god it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home sitting all alone inside your head

Hello Everyone
I need a little help to identify a song title and band name if possible for the following lyrics ...
"Are you sitting comfortably, then we'll begin"
These lyrics are spoken at the very start of the song, and then it carries on into the rest of the song. Pretty sure it is an 80's or 90's band like Def Leppard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you all in advance
A.
The song is
Doesn't Really Matter by Platinum Blonde

I have wondered about this song for years. It sounds like a 90's pop/rock song and has a chorus that goes like "naaaaa naaaaaa na na naaaa, na na na nanana na na . . . " like that. I know it's REALLY vague but those are the only words I know. thanks, lol.

I want to ask if anyone knows what the name & singer are of the following song. It's from the early 60s, probably 1962 or so. The singer is female. The words are:
The wind in my hair & the sun in my eyes. This is the life that I must lead. I must keep running until I don't know all the lies that some people tell. Oh, why can't the world be like little yellow roses. Lies they don't know. Truth only they grow. I've always believed all men are equal whatever color, religion or land, I must keep running until I know....??? Send my mother a lock of my hair. Send my father the ribbons he gave. I must keep running until I don't know all the lies that some people tell.
There may be some mistakes there. I'm not sure I heard the song more than once. I think it may have been one of the less well known of the protest songs. I hope someone recognizes this song. I've been looking for it for decades. Thanks!

Crappy movie....but there is a song on it that I can't find. Its during scene where a couple people are in bed together. Probably 2000-2001, kinda sounds like Hooverphonic, but not quite. Its a female singer and it starts of:
"I guess the honeymoon is over, and all the champagne is gone"
I've tried googling, going to lyric sites, visiting the movies website. Other people have written down all the songs in the credits and i've checked them all.
Can anyone help??

John Denver sings a song called "The Marvelous Toy" with those lyrics. Didn't know it was Irish, though.

Does someone knows this song? The artist and the title of the song!
---
But in the east the stromclouds gather.
Like black smoke ringed with fire.
And the red blood runs, with the setting of the sun.
And the few flames rise higher.
Away to the west, where the sun goes down.
Broken dreams are dying.
Nobody hears the coming of the storm,
or see's the raven flying.
When the sun goes out, we can turn on all the lights.
But we better keep that loud music playing.
Drown out the sound, the voices of the wind.
But we don't know what they're saying.
Maybe to the south, the wind's still sweet.
And the soft spring blaze ?????
Fire across the sea, where the soul fly's free.
I can hear the greecoo's call.
It's not so long till the end of time.
The last cold trumpet is blowing.
At the end of the day, the sad ??? leads the way.
Dying without you knowing.
But in the east the stromclouds gather.
Like black smoke ringed with fire.
And the red blood runs, with the setting of the sun.
And the few flames rise higher
Cause in the east the stromclouds gather.
Like black smoke ringed with fire.
And the red blood runs, with the setting of the sun.
And the few flames rise higher.

Driving home last friday i heard a song on the raido. I've heard it before and never get to hear who its by or the title, so please help
Its a slow, acustic and bluesy with a comicly dark theme, croaky lenord choen style vocal. Its quite catachy and tounge 'n cheek poking fun at the grim reaper, its instantly memerable and stick in the head all day type, but alas i dont remember too many lyrics, here's what i think i have. It seems to make up the chorus
''Hey grim reaper''..............'' I'm not afraid of him''
thats the start and finish of the chorus, there's about 4 or 5 lines missing
Please help, i'm going insane humming over words i don't know. people are starting to stare at me and make that circular motion at the side of there heads...... i'm not mad i'm not mad I'M NOT MAD!!!
